The search box of start menu in Microsoft Windows is very convenient for searching within your computer, but not many people aware that this search box can also be used to search internet. You no need to open your browser. By default, this feature is not enabled. To enabled this feature just follow the below steps:
- Click on the Stat Button.
- Type in gpedit.msc
- Go to User configuration / Administrative Templates / Start Menu and Taskbar.
- Double click on Add Search Internet link to Start Menu.
- Set it to be Enabled.
- Now when you enter the text in the Start Menu, you will see an option to search the internet.
